Liverpool Soccer Club’s Reds Academy is where kids learn to play soccer. LSC provides first-rate training for players of any ability. Through our top-notch clinics, camps, tournaments, and recreational program. Liverpool is able to use its core coaching philosophy to develop both the player’s technique and tactical ability.With the younger players, LSC focuses on the development of technique. Ball handling and dribbling are the priority. With lots of touches on the ball and tons of 1 vs 1 opportunities. In the Reds Academy, players will get to play tons of small-sided games. 1v1, 2v2, 3v3,and 4v4 that ensures lots of touches on the ball the only way to develop young player.
Reds Academy starts with players as young as 4 Years of age and continues through their teenage years. The Academy offers numerous training programs of varying duration’s, so there’s sure to be a cycle that fits your busy schedule!
The Reds Academy Team program is designed for the U5, U6, U7 and U8 Players, boys and girls.
A TRUE ACADEMY FOR 4 to 8 year olds
Academy Teams train together. This focused, multi-year training program works to ensure success at the competitive level, getting them ready to succeed at their initial transition to competitive soccer. The most important aspect of our Reds Academy is the coaching. So many times we heard from parents that have enrolled their kids in other area academy or recreational programs that their kids do not receive the same quality training that we offer even at our free clinics. We see it all the time with kids that have been in other programs coming to our clinics and they have not been taught even the most basic dribbling skills. Liverpool utilizes a professionally written curriculum followed by our educators, trained to our standards, to ensure that each player is being taught the way to play soccer properly. Our goal is simple. By the time our Academy players reach competitive soccer age; they will be fundamentally sound soccer players, physically and mentally. They will be trained to dribble and handle the ball with confidence. Most importantly we will foster a love of the game that will carry them through their soccer careers.
HOW IT WORKS
Each player will be put onto a team based on age group. The groups will be Coed unless the appropriate numbers are available to separate the genders. Players will participate in one practice a week with a game on the weekend They will get 6-8 games during this same time period. Each game will consist of a 3v3 environment where players will get maximum exposure to the soccer experience.
