    2014 Cal South "YM3" Course
     

    The "YM" License is MANDATORY for ALL recreational level coaches. Only a limited
    number of courses are offered each year and sign up for this course must be accomplished through the State Office. This course will be limited to 15 candidates. 
     
    ***YOU MUST BE AT LEAST 16 YEARS OF AGE TO ATTEND THIS COURSE***

    •  Team Administration and Risk Management

    •  Prevention and Care of Injuries

    •  Coaching Tactics

    •  Coaching Technique

    •  Laws of the Game

    •  Development and Age Appropriate Activities

    •  Small-Side Games

      
     
     

    Course Length:

    5 hours total- 2.5 hours in classroom and 2.5 hours of field work.
    Any candidate that fails to attend the FULL 5course will be ineligible to receive their "YM3" license.

    Course Times:

    Saturday 7/26   9:00am - 2:00pm

    Meeting Location:

    Oasis Senior Center

    Cost:
    $15.00 per candidate.

    What to Bring:

     

    •Notepad and pen/pencil for classroom session
    •Properly inflated size 5 soccer ball
    •Appropriate soccer attire and comfortable training shoes for field work
    •Water/snacks, sunscreen lotion (optional), portable chair (optional)
