This course teaches the
particular aspects of soccer officiating for individuals involved in the
recreational program and allows you officiate recreational youth games up to
the Under 14 age group..After completion of the course
your U.S. Soccer Federation(USSF) referee registration is good till December
31st,
2014.

This course is open to those of all
ages.
If you have not been a certified referee for the
last three years you will begin with this course. In this course you will
receive the information needed to become a certified referee.
Course Length:
A Grade 8 course – is a 2-day event
(8 hours per day). Attendance is required on both days. There will be some
outside / field work.
Course

Sunday July 7th, 3:30pm to 9:00pm
Monday July 8th, 4:30pm to 9:00pm
Tuesday July 9th, 4:30pm - 9:pm
Wednesday July 10th, 4:30 to 9:00pm
What to

Black or blue ball point

Pencil with good eraser (for taking the
test)

Quality whistle. No neck
lanyard

Wear comfortable clothing & shoes for jogging &
field work. No sandals or flip-flops. Cleats are not
required.
Additional $10 Facility fee will be collected by host day of the first day of class
All fees are non-refundable for a non-passing exam.
If needed, you can retake the exam until you pass at no additional charge.
Pre-registration must be done online before you
attend this
course.
Additional Information:
Cal South
State Soccer Association requires all USSF referees 18 years old and older to
have Risk Management approval to referee any youth match. If you are turning 18
this year you must apply on or after your birthday. This process can be done

signed up & you are still within the 36 hour time period before the
course, please email refereeregistration@calsouth.com with your name and course
information to cancel your spot otherwise, the fee is
non-refundable.
