The "D" License is strongly recommended for all competitive coaches of players 13 years old and up. This 36-hour course is the most comprehensive course offered and is preparatory for National "C" licensing. Only a limited number of courses are offered each year and sign up for this course must be accomplished through the State Office.

36 hours total- 12 hours in classroom and 24 hours of field sessions.
Any candidtate that fails to attend the FULL

The CDC "Concussion in Youth Sports Assignment, which can be found:
Two weeks prior to course start date, candidate must submit 3 completed coaching sessions chosen from the below list of topics to firstname.lastname@example.org:
• Goalkeeping-Shot stopping and hand distribution
• Individual Defending
• Receiving and turning
• Improve your team's ability to build up through the midfield
• Improve your team's ability to recover the ball in the defensive half.
Candidates will receive a Ready (National "D" License) or Not Ready grade. Candidates receiving a Not Ready grade will be allowed to re-test for a National "D" License for a $25 fee. However, they must wait for a period of six months before re-testing.Course Times:

Cost: $ 225.00 per candidate. $202.50 as a member of the Cal South Coaches Association.

All candidates will receive a Cal South Lesson Planner, and a Nike t-shirt at a retail value of $45.
